"The NEIU community is amazing. You can easily find your people to help support you through your journey. Being involved on campus & networking are two of the most powerful things I was able to experience as a college student. I took advantage of campus life, and served as the Student Trustee and I was an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority.
I have met some phenomenal Northeastern faculty. What makes them stand out is their willingness to help and work hands on with you. I found a mentor who has been one of my #1 supporters, and I am so grateful to her for helping me navigate my college journey.
At Northeastern I was able to apply for several scholarships that I received, so not only was NEIU close to home, but it was affordable.
As a College of Business and Technology graduate, I loved my major, it was so versatile and I can do so many things with an Accounting degree. Since graduating, I’ve been able to become a Business Management Analyst at JP Morgan Chase."
