"I’ve always been intrigued by how computers work. I still remember the first time I used a computer as a kid to play a simple game, and I wondered how the computer “knew” what to do.

Today,  I love solving complex problems through elegant coding and staying on top of new technologies like machine learning or advanced algorithms. The continuous evolution in tech means there’s always something new to learn, keeping me excited and engaged.

NEIU felt like the perfect fit to pursue my graduate studies. First, the location is ideal—it’s close to where I live, and I can spend time with my family. Second, NEIU offers excellent value. It’s more reasonable compared to many other graduate programs, so that has helped me manage expenses while still getting a high-quality education.

I also really value the diversity of the student body. Being surrounded by people from different backgrounds is a huge plus in terms of learning and collaboration and has pushed me to expand my thinking. Additionally, the majority of my classes are in the evenings, which allows me to work and study simultaneously.

I was also able to participate in a graduate research study, which has offered hands-on exposure to advanced concepts and has helped me develop a more robust, practical understanding of my field. Overall, it’s been a fantastic balance of affordability, diversity, flexibility, and academic rigor."
