"I’ve found the people who are majoring in Education here are amazing! They are kind, warm, friendly, and very supportive. I’m studying to become a Middle School math teacher and have been lucky enough to really connect with a few of those classmates. I cannot wait to see where they go and what they accomplish.
I also need to mention that NEIU has the best professors ever! They really help me to understand the material, and they actually care whether or not you’re learning.
When I need extra help, I’ve found the tutoring program at NEIU to be so helpful. Especially all of the writing tutors, they really know what they’re doing and how to help you improve your writing skills.
When it comes to student life, NEIU has helped–and continues to help–me find new ways to connect with people, whether it be students or faculty. They have taught me so much about myself, others, and life, in general. The events put on and activities offered really help to foster friendships with people.
In general, NEIU has some of the kindest, most interesting, and diverse groups of people you’ve ever met, and I would recommend someone enroll at NEIU because the people here are so exceptional. From the faculty to the students, almost everyone is so nice and welcoming. I think this is part of why people are proud when they mention that they have graduated from NEIU."
