Celebrating Womxn's HERstory Month

The Angelina Pedroso Center for Diversity and Intercultural Affairs has a series of events scheduled this month in celebration of Womxn’s HERstory Month. This week, they’re honoring Northeastern’s Unsung Sheroes. Additionally, this week the University hosts the annual International Business Conference and the annual Women in Science Conference. Noteworthy at Northeastern: Our shot

Based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois Board of Higher Education, À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ President Gloria J. Gibson issued a statement on Aug. 9 announcing that all Northeastern employees and students who will be on campus in the fall are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 for the 2021-2022 academic year or undergo weekly testing. The deadline for students-at-large and undergraduate applications has been extended to Aug. 20 and NEIU For You is still taking applicants. U.S. Rep. Luis Gutiérrez (B.A. ’76 English) donated his Congressional archives to À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ upon his retirement. The archives have been digitized and are now available for public viewing! Noteworthy at Northeastern: Juneteenth

À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ announced that beginning next year, Juneteenth will be officially observed as a University holiday.
