May Commencement was postponed, but we’re still excited to celebrate the Class of 2020! Meet one spring graduate who’s off to Yale, an alum who’s now a professor at Princeton and a Pulitzer Prize finalist, and an instructor who’s up for a Peabody award.

The Ronald Williams Library expanded its Japanese American Redress Collection, the 2020 Bernard J. Brommel Distinguished Research Professor award was announced, an assistant professor published his third book, and of course we can’t forget about celebrating the spring graduates!

Professor of English Chielozona Eze has been honored with ��ݮ��Ƶ’s 2020 Bernard J. Brommel Distinguished Research Professor award.

��ݮ��Ƶ Assistant Professor of Educational Inquiry and Curriculum Studies Sunni Ali published his third book, “Lessons Learned: Critical Conversation in Hip Hop and Social Justice.”

��ݮ��Ƶ’s Ronald Williams Library has added newly digitized video footage of the Commission on the Wartime Relocation and Internment of Civilians (CWRIC) hearings to its Japanese American Redress Collection.

��ݮ��Ƶ’s Board of Trustees approved the award of tenure to seven members of the faculty during the April 16 meeting.

��ݮ��Ƶ will remove the requirement for a standardized test score from its Fall 2020 application for enrollment. Effective immediately, Northeastern’s Fall 2020 admissions decisions will be made strictly using grade-point average and curriculum.
