The Chicago Cancer Health Equity Collaborative (ChicagoCHEC) has announced the details of its 5th Annual Community Forum. This year’s theme is Addressing Cancer Together During COVID-19: The ChicagoCHEC Partnership.

The University has been awarded a major grant to fund TRIO Student Support Services programs through 2025, and an additional $10,000 has been added to the General Scholarship Fund for students. À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ earns three TRIO Student Support Services grants totaling $3.9 million
The U.S. Department of Education has awarded three grants to À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ in support of TRIO Student Support Services (TRIO SSS), a program that provides individualized academic and social assistance to students from their freshman year through graduation. Northeastern is the only university in the state to be awarded more than two TRIO grants.

Northeastern students research air pollution, possible connections to COVID-19, ozone plumes
Through Northeastern's Student Center for Science Engagement, undergraduate students examined air pollution data this summer to study two separate issues: if areas with higher levels of particulate matter (or PM 2.5) correlate with higher cases or mortality rates of COVID-19 and the occurrence of ozone plumes.
