General Information

Physical Education Complex, 3600 W. Foster Ave., Chicago, IL 60625. .

The Physical Education Complex is open 6 days a week during the academic year with limited hours over the summer and during school breaks and holidays. See dates/hours.

Currently enrolled Northeastern students have access to Campus Recreation as their membership is included in their tuition. Faculty, staff, alumni, and community members must purchase a membership at the front desk to gain admittance to the facility. 

You must present a valid government issued I.D. or college/university I.D. to enter the facility at all times. No exceptions!

The locker rooms and showers are located on the first floor of the Physical Education Complex. Patrons are able to use day lockers for their personal use while visiting the building. Please see the Equipment Desk to rent a locker or towel.

Parking

Parking is not included in your membership.

Free parking is available on the west side of St. Louis Ave. Paid parking is available in all University parking lots.

Parking permits can be purchase online through or in the Parking Office, located on the north side of the Parking Facility.

Membership

There are several different types of memberships including faculty, staff, community, NEIU alumni, and more.

Yes, college students from another college/university can purchase a at the front desk.

Use of the fitness center, racquetball courts, gymnasiums, fitness studios, locker rooms, and more. Take a look at our facilities amenities.

Facility

The elevated track is available to anyone with a Campus Recreation membership.

The elevated track is 1/6 of a mile long, patrons must circle the track 6 1/4 times to reach 1 mile.

Campus Recreation memberships have access to the facility during posted open times.

Patrons are eligible to checkout items at the Equipment Desk. The following items are available: basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, daily-use locks, badminton equipment, racquetball equipment, ping pong equipment, billiards equipment, and towels.

Fitness Classes

Campus Recreation offers numerous group exercise classes FREE with membership.

Aquatics

As of now, the pool is closed indefinitely.
