ݮƵ graduates its students with the least amount of student debt among Midwest regional universities, according to the 2020 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s annual “Best Colleges” publication.

Noteworthy at Northeastern: Another No. 1 ranking!
Northeastern has earned another No. 1 ranking for Environment, a faculty member published research on a popular social media platform, and a staff member received an appointment from Gov. JB Pritzker.

For the fourth year in a row, ݮƵ is ranked No. 1 in the category of Environment among all Midwest colleges and universities by The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Ranking.

Research finds extreme elitism, social hierarchy among Gab users
Despite its portrayal as a network that “champions free speech,” users of the social media platform Gab display more extreme social hierarchy and elitism when compared to Twitter users, according to a new study published in the September edition of the online journal First Monday. Researchers found a small number of Gab users hold a large amount of influence, sharing more homogeneous content than Twitter, some of which was associated with state-sponsored propaganda.

Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater’s Raised in Chicago, Ready for the World fundraising campaign has concluded by raising a total of more than $1.5 million.
