Vice President of Events

Hello scholars! My name is Nũr Johnson, I am a senior here at Northeastern. I am this year’s VP of events. That means I’m bringing the fun! My major is Justice studies with a minor in criminology. I transferred to Northeastern last fall 2024 semester and I have been satisfied and fulfilled with my choice ever since. The professors here are great! They go the extra mile to make sure your learning experience is the best it can be. There are also so many resources that are available for students. NEIU offers scholarships, clubs, initiative programs, tutoring etc. Northeastern is a place that sets you up for success, as long as you reach for it. As for my career goals, I have many. After I graduate, I am planning on attending law school to become a public policy lawyer.

Netanel AlexanderNetanel Alexander

Treasurer

I’m currently serving as the treasurer for the University Honors Program. I’m a biology major on the pre-med track, and I chose Northeastern because of its convenient location and affordable tuition. Once I got here, I realized I had made the right choice—having great professors and small class sizes has really made a difference for me. Joining the Honors Program has also been one of the best decisions I’ve made. It has helped me financially and given me the chance to connect with other motivated students.

Outside of school, I’m married to my amazing wife, and we’re raising two kids a three-year-old son and a four-month-old daughter. A fun fact is that my son keeps telling me he wants to go to the hospital and be a doctor with me. its funny because it’ll still be a while before I actually become a physician.
