Chicago Clarinet Ensemble
Founded by Dr. Rose Sperrazza, the is in residence at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. The ensemble ranges in size from two to more than 35 players, and has appeared at the Chicago Humanities Festival, Looptopia Chicago, Simpson College, Chicago’s Merit School of Music, the University of Iowa, Clarinet Fest 2012 in Lincoln, Nebraska, in numerous broadcasts on Chicago’s WFMT, and in many outreach concerts. Since its inaugural concert in 2007, the CCE has featured world-renowned soloists and has commissioned numerous new works for clarinet ensemble. For more information contact Dr. Rose Sperrazza.
Ensemble Español
The , under the artistic leadership of founder , Associate Artistic Drector Irma Suarez-Ruiz and Executive Director Jorge Perez, is the premier Spanish Dance Company and Center in the United States in-residence at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµâ€™s Department of Music and Dance. The company’s mission is the preservation, presentation and promotion of the classical, folkloric, flamenco and contemporary dance and music traditions of Spain. The Ensemble Español, founded in 1976 by Dame Libby, is comprised of 40 dancers, singers, musicians and guest artists.
