2025 Summer Data Camp
3-Day Summer Data Camp: Be Prepared For Applied Data Research
The Research and Statistical Service (REST) team within the NEIU Center Health hosts a Summer Data Camp during the Summer. The Summer Data Camp is open to all students at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ and ChicagoCHEC Fellows, and no particular background or training is required. Prizes are given to first, second, and third-place teams. The free camp prepares students for Applied Data Research. It teaches the skills necessary for advanced research experience in university and career settings. The Camp will occur June 23 through 25 at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, Main Campus, in Building B, B-103, 5500 N. Saint Louis Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60625.
Application
For full consideration, please submit an application by midnight on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Applications received after this date will be considered on a space permit basis.
Camp Dates:
Day 1: Monday, June 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Day 2: Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Day 3: Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Campers' Final Project Due AT 5:00 P.M. Monday, July 14, 2025
Camp Research Jamboree with Poster Presentations: Friday, July 25, 2025

You'll earn the 2025 Summer Data Camp Badge and Monetary Awards if your team places:
1st Place: $300
($300 awarded to each team member)
2nd Place: $200
($200 awarded to each team member)
3rd Place: $100
($100 awarded to each team member)
