À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ alumna Sylwia Zalinska (B.S. ’18 Psychology) and her sister, Aneta (B.S. Marketing, expected Fall ’20), co-founded a shop that has been featured on a national talk show and sold out an entire line of products for the 2020 holiday season.

The Science Engagement Theory
While this case study is ongoing, it certainly looks promising—and there are many more where it came from. In the six years since its launch, Northeastern’s is proving to be a valuable and versatile resource for hundreds of students in the science, technology, engineering and math disciplines. The goal is not only to graduate those students, but also to provide them with a holistic preparation for their post-graduation lives, whether that’s in industry, government agency or academia.

Research @NEIU: Anthropology Professor Joins Field Museum, Receives Federal Grant To Build Plant-Use Database
Dr. Jon Hageman, Associate Professor in Anthropology, has been appointed Research Associate at the Chicago Field Museum, in recognition of his work with the museum's Searle Herbarium. Dr. Hageman also received a National Science Foundation grant from the area of Behavioral and Cognitive Sciences (Archeaology-Senior Research Program) to complete an online Mesoamerican ethnobotanical database.
